We would like to congratulate everyone that took part in the London Youth Games. It was great to see so many athletes taking part, especially those who competed for the first time. It was encouraging to see how involved the athletes were and how keen they were to contribute to their borough team points.

What happens next
- If you would like to try another competition the next Chessington Cup is on Sunday 12th March at Chessington Sports Centre. You can sign up through the Customer Portal in the Chessington location. This is an individual event where gymnasts aim to achieve performance scores rather than rank against each other. We use the Chessington Cup to prepare gymnasts for the London Gymnastics events.
- For those entered, the London Aspire and Challenge Cup Qualifier 1 will be held on Sunday 19th March, we will continue to work on competition exercises in class with many upgrading from Aspire to Challenge.
- If you would like to enter the London Aspire and Challenge Cup Qualifier 2 on Sunday 7th May at Redbridge Sports Centre entry is now open on the Customer Porta in the Kingston location. This is open to anyone who has hit their performance scores at a Chessington Cup event.
